Thank you for joining us for our 9th Annual Duke Transplant Infectious Disease Symposium. We are honored to bring you an exceptional roster of speakers who will provide insights on Next Generation Diagnostics in the Immunocompromised Host. Our goal is to better understand these novel diagnostics, which include genomic biomarkers, cell-free DNA, xenotransplantation, and artificial intelligence. Our T32-funded TxID Training Program Research Symposium has been held annually since 2015, with themes typically centered around our trainees' research. We intentionally invite a multidisciplinary line-up of speakers, including basic science, translational, and clinical researchers, to showcase ongoing research and/or expertise related to the topic. The intent is to reach across disciplines to foster innovative approaches to solving infection-related problems impacting the immunocompromised host.
